Back words ; my lifelong struggle with dyslexia : from the darkness of illiteracy to the illumination of success: tribulations and triumphs of a Missouri entrepreneur / by Thomas Earl Harrawood as told to G. L. Harrawood.
Tom Harrawood is the author of Back Words, but he can't read it very well, if at all. Tom has dyslexia and it has presented obstacles for him his entire life. Growing up in the 1940s in rural America, Tom's disorder made him the brunt of ugly, insensitive name calling, and made earning an education incredibly difficult. Tom overcame these early life unpleasantries to serve his country in a successful military career and later in life to achieve goals as an entrepreneur many can only dream about. Tom's path was challenging and many times a painful one, but he persevered and now shares his inspiring and entertaining story in Back Words.
